1. About Finvo
Finvo is a free online loan comparison service for people living in South Africa. We help you connect with our application partner and participating credit providers. We are not a bank or a credit provider.
The service is operated by:

2. Who can use the service
You must be at least 18 years old and live in South Africa to use this service. Individual credit providers set their own eligibility requirements, which may include proof of identity, income and a South African bank account.
By using Finvo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not submit an application.
3. How applications work
You provide your initial details on Finvo and continue with our application partner, myLoan, to complete your application. Participating credit providers assess applications against their own lending criteria and applicable affordability requirements.
An enquiry is not a loan agreement or a guarantee of approval. The offers available to you, if any, depend on your circumstances and the credit provider's assessment. Application and payout times vary.
4. Accurate information
Please provide complete, accurate and current information and apply only on your own behalf. Incorrect or misleading information may result in your application being declined or an offer being withdrawn.
5. Fees and the cost of credit
Finvo does not charge you to use its comparison service. We may receive commission from our partners. A credit provider may charge interest, initiation and service fees, and credit life insurance where applicable. Review the provider's quotation and the total amount repayable before accepting an offer.
Calculator results and examples are estimates, not quotations. Your final interest rate, fees, repayment term and instalment are set by the credit provider and must comply with applicable law, including the National Credit Act, 2005.
6. Credit checks and approval
Credit providers may request credit bureau information and carry out affordability checks with the permissions required by law. Please read the consent wording in the partner application. We do not guarantee approval, a particular interest rate or that every enquiry will have no effect on your credit record.
7. Your loan agreement
Any loan agreement is between you and the credit provider. Finvo does not lend money, make lending decisions, collect loan repayments or guarantee a provider's service. Check that the provider is registered with the National Credit Regulator before entering into an agreement.
Our service does not necessarily cover every lender or product on the market. The information on this website is general information, not personalised financial advice.
8. Personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and your rights under POPIA. Our application partner and credit providers have their own privacy notices and terms, which you should also read.
9. Borrow responsibly
Borrow only what you can afford to repay. A lower monthly instalment over a longer term may mean paying more in total. If you are struggling with repayments, contact your credit provider early or speak to an NCR-registered debt counsellor.
If you are under debt review, restrictions on taking out further credit may apply. A new loan is not a way to bypass those restrictions.
10. Availability and your legal rights
We aim to keep the information on our website accurate and the service available, but errors and interruptions may occur. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.
South African consumers retain the protections of applicable South African law. These terms do not override mandatory rights under the National Credit Act, POPIA or other applicable consumer legislation.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version and its last-updated date are shown on this page. Changes to these terms do not change an existing agreement you have with a credit provider.
12. Questions and complaints
For questions about Finvo, contact info@finvo.co.za. For a complaint about a loan, contact the credit provider first. The National Credit Regulator provides information on credit-related complaints and registered providers.
